About Alan Walker
His breakthrough came with "Faded," a reworking of his 2014 instrumental "Fade" featuring Norwegian singer Iselin Solheim, released in December 2015. The track topped charts in numerous countries, became the first Norwegian song to reach 1 billion YouTube views, and has since surpassed 3.9 billion views. "Faded" won Song of the Year at Norway's Spellemannprisen awards and earned Grammy and Brit Award nominations; Walker has since had seven number-one singles on Norway's VG-lista chart.
Walker records for MER Musikk under Sony Music Sweden and has released studio albums built around the "Walker" universe and visual identity, including "Different World" (2018), which topped Norwegian and Finnish album charts, "World of Walker" (2021) and "Walkerworld" (2023). His productions favor melodic, cinematic dance tracks paired with an ongoing visual mythology and a masked stage persona.
He has won three MTV Europe Music Awards, was ranked 11th on DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs in 2023, and was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list in 2025. Walker released "Walkerworld 2.0" in January 2025 and remains among Norway's most-followed musical acts, with close to 47 million YouTube subscribers as of mid-2025.
