Destroy Lonely, born Bobby Wardell Sandimanie III on July 30, 2001, in Atlanta, Georgia, is an American rapper of Liberian descent. He is the son of rapper I-20, who was affiliated with Ludacris's Disturbing tha Peace label. He began making music at age 14 and derived his stage name from personal struggles, taking "Destroy" from substance-abuse issues during his school years and "Lonely" from the isolation he felt in adolescence.

About Destroy Lonely

His music blends southern hip-hop, trap, rage rap and emo rap, marked by dense, blaring instrumentals built from ambient synthesizers, programmed guitar, orchestral samples and video-game-inspired sounds, paired with a dark, name-brand-clothing-driven aesthetic. He gained early traction with the single "Bane" in 2019 before signing to Playboi Carti's Opium label, distributed through Interscope Records, in early 2021 after Carti noticed his video for "Oh Yeah."

Destroy Lonely released his debut mixtape No Stylist in 2022, which reached the Billboard 200, followed by his studio albums If Looks Could Kill in 2023, which peaked at number 18, and Love Lasts Forever in 2024, which reached number ten. He frequently collaborates with Opium labelmates Ken Carson and Homixide Gang and released the project ᐸ/3³ in September 2025.
