About Interpol
The band became associated with New York's early-2000s post-punk revival scene. Signed to Matador Records, they released their debut album, Turn on the Bright Lights, in 2002 to significant critical acclaim, and their 2007 album Our Love to Admire became their highest-charting release, reaching number four in the United States and number two in the United Kingdom.
