Louisville Cardinals Women's Volleyball
The Louisville Cardinals women's volleyball team is the NCAA Division I program representing the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. Founded in 1977 under coach Susan Johns, the program has competed in the Metro Conference, Conference USA, the Big East and the American Athletic Conference before joining the Atlantic Coast Conference in 2014.

About Louisville Cardinals Women's Volleyball
The team's rise accelerated under longtime coach Leonid Yelin, its winningest head coach, from 1996 to 2010, and continued under Dani Busboom Kelly, who led Louisville to national runner-up finishes in 2022 and 2024 and its first Elite Eight appearance in 2019 before departing for Nebraska in 2025. Associate head coach Dan Meske now leads the program.
Louisville has won five ACC regular-season titles, in 2015, 2017, 2020, 2021 and 2022, along with conference tournament championships, and carries an all-time record of more than 1,100 wins. The Cardinals wear red and black and play home matches at the L&N Federal Credit Union Arena, with rivalries against Pittsburgh and Kentucky.
