Michigander
Michigander is the recording project of Jason Singer, an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Kalamazoo, Michigan, established in 2014. Working across alternative rock, indie rock, pop rock, and pop, Singer built the project from the ground up, contacting college radio stations directly and taking opening slots on tours by more established acts.

About Michigander
His 2016 single "Nineties" brought early streaming attention, and the EPs Midland (2018) and Where Do We Go From Here (2019) followed, the latter's single "Misery" surpassing ten million streams and giving Michigander his first Triple A radio hit. He performed at Mo Pop Festival in Detroit alongside Foster the People and Alt-J in 2017, and later played Austin City Limits and Lollapalooza in 2023.
Michigander released three additional EPs through C3 Records between 2019 and 2023, including collaborations with Manchester Orchestra and Dashboard Confessional, before issuing a self-titled full-length debut album in 2025 on Thirty Tigers, supported by "The Broadcast" tour of the US and UK. A second album, Over Before You Know It, was announced in 2026, led by the single "Freaking Out," which reached number ten on the Triple A radio chart. Singer performs with touring musicians Jake LeMond, Aaron Senor, Connor Robertson, and Dylan Grantham.
