About Mike Wozniak

He is best known for playing Brian in the Channel 4 sitcom Man Down, created by and starring Greg Davies, and for finishing runner-up on the eleventh series of Taskmaster in 2021. He co-created the Three Bean Salad podcast with Benjamin Partridge and Henry Paker, which won Best Comedy Podcast at the 2024 Chortle Awards.

Wozniak performed sketch comedy from the late 1990s before switching to stand-up in 2007. His debut solo show earned a Best Newcomer nomination at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2008, the same year he won the Amused Moose Laugh-Off competition, and a later show, Take the Hit, was nominated for Best Show in 2013.

Beyond performing, he wrote and directed the short film Sump, starring Gemma Whelan, Daniel Rigby and Jeany Spark, which won the Special Jury Prize at the Amsterdam Film Festival, and continues to contribute to BBC Radio 4's Small Scenes.
