Primus
Primus formed in El Sobrante, California, in 1984 around bassist and vocalist Les Claypool, with the classic lineup of guitarist Larry LaLonde and drummer Tim Alexander settling by 1989. Critic Robert Christgau called them "quite possibly the strangest top-10 band ever", and Claypool has described the sound as psychedelic polka, blending progressive rock, funk and metal.

About Primus
Sailing the Seas of Cheese (1991) went platinum, followed by Pork Soda (1993), Tales from the Punchbowl (1995) and Green Naugahyde (2011). Chart entries include "My Name Is Mud", "Tommy the Cat" and the Grammy-nominated "Wynona's Big Brown Beaver".
