About Saves the Day
The band plays emo, pop-punk, melodic hardcore and punk rock, and released early material through Equal Vision Records before signing with Vagrant Records. Its 2001 album Stay What You Are sold roughly 200,000 copies and produced the MTV2-aired singles "At Your Funeral" and "Freakish," helping the band reach a wider audience.
A 2003 deal with DreamWorks Records ended when the label folded into Interscope, which dropped the band weeks after releasing its self-titled album. Saves the Day later issued the concept trilogy Sound the Alarm (2006), Under the Boards (2007) and Daybreak (2011), followed by its most recent album, 9, in 2018. Despite numerous lineup changes, Conley has remained the band's sole constant member throughout its history.
