The Standard of Living is a play by Olivier Award-winning playwright James Graham, receiving its world premiere at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London. It is directed by Nicholas Hytner, with set design by Bob Crowley, and stars Rory Kinnear as economist John Maynard Keynes alongside Royal Ballet principal Natalia Osipova in her West End debut.

About The Standard of Living
The play follows Keynes as he moves between the corridors of political power in Whitehall and a circle of artists and writers associated with the Bloomsbury Group, exploring his ideas on economics and public arts funding against the backdrop of market crashes and social upheaval in early twentieth-century Britain.
