Miles Davis « In a Silent Way » Revisited

This special concert revisits Miles Davis's landmark 1969 album *In a Silent Way*, a cornerstone of his electric period. The Verbier Festival presents a live reinterpretation that draws on the ambient, jazz-fusion spirit of the original recordings, as well as the broader soundscapes of Davis's work from 1969–1974.

Attendees can expect an immersive journey through Davis's fusion era, with arrangements that echo the dark, continuous tone poem of Bill Laswell's *Panthalassa* remix album. The performance will feature reimagined compositions from *In a Silent Way*, *On the Corner*, and *Get Up With It*, highlighting the trumpeter's still-startling visions.
