Pasta Flavours Festival: Traditional Food & Music Night

The opening night of the 12th Art & Culture Festival in Agios Theodoros transforms the village's beautified riverbed into a lively celebration of traditional Cypriot pasta and local heritage. Visitors are welcomed with free entry to an outdoor evening filled with hands-on food workshops, folk dance, and live music.

Throughout the night, attendees can take part in experiential workshops for preparing, baking, and tasting Sklinitzi-style pasta, alongside demonstrations of Hondrofide with tomato sauce and the classic Tri with milk. Traditional products are on sale, and food and drink stalls keep the festive spirit alive. The Pendaschinos Folk Dance Group performs traditional Cypriot dances, and the evening culminates in a grand traditional glendi led by musician Stefanos Pelekani.

The festival has a strong community character, making it suitable for all ages. Held under the auspices of the Larnaca District Officer and organised by ANETEL, this event offers an authentic taste of Cypriot culinary and musical traditions in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere.
