Songs in the Cycle of Life & Time: Cypriot Music Concert

This free concert, part of the Municipality of Strovolos' 'Culture in Every Neighbourhood' initiative, brings together vocalist Christos Sikkis, Anna Aristeidou, and the ensemble ANTAMA for an evening of Cypriot traditional music at Takis Zembyla Municipal Park. The program weaves together the diverse musical voices of Cyprus, from Paphian and Avkoritis songs to tsatismata, lullabies, ballads, and poignant songs of displacement.

The outdoor park setting offers a relaxed atmosphere to experience the rich tapestry of Cypriot folk traditions. From love songs to satirical pieces and refugee memories, the repertoire paints a vivid portrait of the island's cultural heritage.
