Getting aroundErlangen's old town, Schlossgarten, and Burgberg are all walkable from the train station in 10-15 minutes. Regional and S-Bahn trains reach Nuremberg in about 15 minutes; Nuremberg Airport is roughly 25-30 minutes away by car or a train-plus-tram combination. A car is unnecessary if staying centrally.
