Cirque du Soleil: OVO in Stuttgart

Cirque du Soleil brings its acclaimed production OVO to Stuttgart, immersing audiences in a vibrant insect world where movement and life intertwine. Inspired by the bustling ecosystem of bugs, the show features a colorful cast of characters including the chaotic Master Flipo, the mysterious Foreigner, and the joyful Ladybug, all brought to life by 54 performing artists from sixteen countries.

Attendees can expect a dynamic spectacle of acrobatic acts, from ants juggling with their feet to dragonflies balancing on rotating blocks and butterflies soaring on aerial straps. The score, composed by Berna Ceppas, draws from Brazilian music, adding a rhythmic energy that complements the performers' feats of agility and grace.

This touring production, which premiered in Montreal in 2009, continues to captivate with its largest flying act ever undertaken by Cirque du Soleil. The elaborate set, designed by Gringo Cardia, features irregular shapes, glowing "firefly eggs," and a massive rear wall that supports trampolines and aerial performances, creating an immersive environment for a night of wonder.
