Read full details
Make Me Roll en Tetuán transforms the covered football courts of Parque Sahagún into a vibrant roller disco celebrating 70s and 80s funk and disco culture. Participants can join a masterclass open to all skill levels to learn basic roller dance steps, followed by a collective choreography and a live performance of the original track 'Make Me Roll'. After the lesson, the rink turns into a full-fledged roller disco with a DJ spinning classic 80s hits, inviting everyone to skate and dance.
Led by Laura Rollerdancer, a multidisciplinary artist who has been teaching roller dance in Madrid since 2013 and is the creator of the Make Me Roll project, the event fosters an inclusive, participatory atmosphere. The activity is recommended for ages 12 and up, though younger children can attend with an adult and must wear protective gear. Helmets are mandatory for beginners, and attendees must bring their own skates.
