Carnaval de Nice 2027: Vive l'Amour

The Carnaval de Nice, France's premier international carnival, returns for its 2027 edition under the theme "Vive l'Amour." For two weeks, the city transforms into a vibrant spectacle of daytime and nighttime "Corsi carnavalesques" — parades of decorated floats accompanied by street art troupes and musical groups from around the world. The elegant "Batailles de Fleurs" (flower battles) add a fragrant, colorful dimension to the festivities.

Attendees can experience the carnival in designated zones: Zone A around Place Masséna with grandstands, and Zone B between Avenue de Verdun and the Promenade des Anglais, which includes pedestrian areas. The event village on Promenade du Paillon offers a central hub near the ticket office. A unique perk: visitors who come fully costumed from head to toe can enter the illuminated night parades for free in pedestrian zones (subject to availability).
