À la découverte des quartiers parisiens : Montparnasse, autour du musée Bourdelle 2026

This guided walking tour explores the Montparnasse district, focusing on the historic artist studios around the Musée Bourdelle. Led by a guide-lecturer from the Comité d'histoire de la Ville de Paris, the visit traces the life and work of sculptor Antoine Bourdelle, who lived and worked in this artists' quarter for over 40 years.

Participants will learn how Bourdelle moved into the Impasse du Maine in 1885, gradually acquiring adjacent studios to store his works and fulfill commissions. The tour also highlights a digital app developed by the City of Paris that enriches the history of artist studios in the neighborhood, with six themed walks available.

This free event is part of a series of guided walks discovering Parisian neighborhoods, offering an intimate glimpse into the creative legacy of Montparnasse. With a limit of 25 participants, advance reservation is required.
