Baby Sign Language Workshops in Paris

These gentle, playful workshops introduce parents and their babies (0–3 years) to the basics of French Sign Language (LSF). Through simple gestures, songs, and finger games, families learn to understand their little ones' needs and emotions before speech develops. The sessions are designed to be inclusive and welcoming, with dads and siblings encouraged to join.

Held at Un Air de Famille in the 10th arrondissement, each workshop lasts one hour and focuses on either a discovery session (learning the first 20 signs) or a gesture-song session for returning families. A memo poster is given after the discovery workshop. Spaces are limited to eight families, so advance booking is essential.

Led by Compagnie Maya, the workshops emphasize positive parenting and body awareness in a caring atmosphere. The venue is accessible for people with reduced mobility, and sign language interpretation is available on request.
