Bachar Mar-Khalifé joue Christophe

Bachar Mar-Khalifé delivers both a tribute and a free interpretation of the repertoire of Christophe, the legendary "Beau Bizarre" of French song. The two artists first met in 2018 to record the track "Jnoun" together, and this concert continues that creative dialogue. Accompanied by Dogan Poyraz on drums and Aleksander Angelov on bass, Mar-Khalifé caresses melodies on his piano while also seeking a pulse that cuts through jazz, electro, and Lebanese music.

The Théâtre de la Bastille opens its stage to musical performance in partnership with Astérios, a producer of contemporary music, as part of a broader effort to embrace Mediterranean shores.
