Bibliothèque Hors Les Murs (BHLM) place des Vosges

This summer, the Bibliothèque Hors Les Murs (BHLM) transforms the historic Place des Vosges into an open-air reading room. Every Tuesday and Thursday morning in July, families and book lovers gather in Square Louis-XIII to enjoy storytime on the grass, with librarians reading aloud from a curated selection of children's books.

Beyond the readings, visitors can engage with heritage-themed games created by Paris's historic libraries, including the Bibliothèque Arthur Rimbaud, Forney, the Bibliothèque Historique de la Ville de Paris, and the Bibliothèque de l'Hôtel de Ville. The event is free and open to all, offering a relaxed, literary escape in one of the city's most beautiful squares.

Part of the larger "Saison culturelle de la Bibliothèque historique de la Ville de Paris" and the "Les bibliothèques hors les murs" series, BHLM invites both young and old to share the joy of reading outdoors.
