Bibliothèque Hors les Murs - été 2026 - Médiathèque Marguerite Yourcenar

Every Wednesday morning from July 8 to August 26, 2026, the Médiathèque Marguerite Yourcenar brings its library outdoors to Parc Georges Brassens in Paris's 15th arrondissement. This free, open-air event invites visitors of all ages to gather by the central pond for reading, browsing, and sharing stories under the trees.

The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, with librarians on hand to help you discover new books and enjoy a quiet moment in nature. The event is accessible to people with reduced mobility, as well as those with hearing, visual, or mental disabilities, ensuring everyone can participate.

Whether you come alone, with friends, or with children, it's a perfect way to start a summer morning. Groups of 10 or more children from leisure centers are asked to register in advance. Note that the event may be canceled in case of bad weather.
