Chantier Maraicher: Urban Farming Workshop at La Ferme de Paris

La Ferme de Paris invites you to roll up your sleeves for a hands-on market gardening workshop. Held once a month, these participatory sessions introduce the practice of maraichage — the art of growing vegetables on living soil. Participants learn both theory and practical skills, from explaining good practices to tasks like staking, pruning, hilling, removing diseased plants, and de-suckering tomatoes.

The workshops take place outdoors at the farm, located at 24 route de la Tourelle in the 12th arrondissement. Attendees are advised to wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes, and to bring their own lunch — hot drinks are provided. It's a unique opportunity to get your hands dirty, connect with nature, and learn sustainable urban agriculture techniques right in the heart of Paris.
