Cookin' With Dexter Gordon at Le Melville

Ten years ago, pianist Alix Logiaco and saxophonist Florian Marques launched "Cookin' With", a jazz project inspired by the mainstream sounds of the 1950s and 1960s. This evening, they pay homage to the legendary saxophonist Dexter Gordon, exploring his compositions with a repertoire that captures the spirit of his era.

The quartet features Florian Marques on saxophone, Alix Logiaco on piano, Cyril Billot on double bass, and Germain Cornet on drums. With numerous Parisian club concerts and prestigious collaborations—including a tribute to Jackie McLean with Dmitry Baevsky—the group brings a modular, exploratory approach to Gordon's music.
