Du Jardin Rachmaninov au Parc Chapelle charbon

This guided walk takes you from the Jardin Rachmaninov, designed in 1991 by landscape architect Kathryn Gustafson, to the newer Parc Chapelle Charbon. The garden features rare trees like the snakebark maple and sweetgum, spread over 5,400 m², with tiered seating around a large basin from which a small stream flows through shrub and flower beds.

The walk continues to Parc Chapelle Charbon, which adds 28,841 m² of green space to the neighborhood. Its curved paths and gentle slopes create a natural feel, with plantings of local species forming meadows, orchards, and gardens that support biodiversity. The park also retains a canopy from its railway past and offers spaces for both relaxation and sports.
