Two master soloists, saxophonist Eric Séva and trombonist Daniel Zimmermann, reunite for an intimate duo project at the 38Riv Jazz Club. Their set explores an imaginary folk repertoire blending Piazzolla, Grappelli, Brazilian music, and musette waltz, all delivered without a net — a tightrope act of sound.

The 38Riv, a vaulted 12th-century cellar in the heart of the Marais, provides a warm, authentic acoustic setting. Séva, a veteran of Didier Lockwood's group and the Orchestre National de Jazz, and Zimmermann, a multiple Victoires du Jazz nominee who has played with Claude Nougaro and Manu Dibango, bring decades of experience to this stripped-down format.
