Festival Rhizomes 2026

Festival Rhizomes returns for its 25th anniversary edition, transforming the 18th arrondissement of Paris into a sprawling, free celebration of music and performance. From July 5 to 26, the festival takes over gardens, quays, and arenas with an eclectic lineup that spans continents and genres.

Attendees can expect a vibrant atmosphere blending afro-punk, Malian divas, Japanese electro, and Irish duets, alongside extraordinary "balades" featuring floating or aerial stages designed by tree climbers. Musicians, dancers, and circus performers create surprise encounters throughout the city, embodying the festival's spirit of solidarity and joy.

This year's edition highlights include Jupiter & Okwess (Congo Kinshasa), Rebecca Roger Cruz (Venezuela), Christine Zayed (Palestine), Mah Damba (Mali), and the collective LINDIGO (Réunion). The festival remains free and open to all, with accessible venues for visitors with reduced mobility, hearing, visual, or mental disabilities.
