Inspired by real events, *Le Signalement* puts an unconventional high school to the test of harassment accusations. The play, rich and choral, draws on contributions from amateur performers gathered in each city. With a familiar set of tables, chairs, and a blackboard, the setting is a self-managed school where students and teachers make all decisions collectively.

This beautiful human and pedagogical experience is threatened by accusations of sexual harassment against a teacher. Between false testimony and a real victim, the collective is torn over how to proceed, just as the school board threatens not to renew the agreement linking the establishment to the National Education system. As he did with *La Crèche: mécanique d'un conflit* in 2025 at CENTQUATRE-PARIS, where he is an artist in residence, François Hien draws from real events while engaging performers in the writing process.

The teenagers and adults who participated in workshops held at CENTQUATRE beforehand infuse the narrative with their reflections and experiences. This show puts into play questions of circulation and reception of speech, as well as how two generations confront their political commitment and utopias.
