La bibliothèque Astrid Lindgren hors les murs en 2026 !

Throughout July and August, the Astrid Lindgren library team and volunteer readers from the L.I.R.E. association host open-air storytelling sessions in the Square du Petit Bois. Every Wednesday morning, children and adults gather under the trees of this 19th-arrondissement park to listen to tales read aloud in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.

The event is part of the citywide "Les bibliothèques hors les murs" series, which brings library services out of their buildings and into public green spaces. It offers a free, accessible cultural outing for families looking to combine fresh air with literary discovery.

Set in a quiet square near the Buttes-Chaumont neighborhood, the sessions provide a gentle introduction to reading for young children and a pleasant way for adults to rediscover the pleasure of being read to. No registration is required—just bring a blanket and enjoy the stories.
