Le Destin Tragicomique de Tubby et Nottubby

This outdoor theatre piece follows the chance meeting of Tubby and Nottubby on a Christmas Eve in London, propelling them on an extraordinary quest beyond reality. Inspired by Shakespeare and the spirit of Laurel and Hardy, the show blends ancient myths with a modern tale of friendship, love, and dreams as shields against a cruel world.

Set in the Théâtre de Verdure du Jardin Shakespeare in the Bois de Boulogne, the performance is part of the 5th edition of the Théâtre de Verdure. The story, born from a creative process steeped in Shakespearean language and imagery, explores the fragility and strength of human connection, asking whether one can survive without becoming a predator.

Audiences can expect a tragicomic journey filled with illusions, storms, songs, and a talking skull, all leading to a rebirth. The production is accessible to all, with sign language interpretation available, and is suitable for ages 7 and up.
