Les bibliothèques Musset et Germaine Tillion hors les murs

Throughout July, the libraries Musset and Germaine Tillion take their collections outdoors to Parc Sainte-Périne in the 16th arrondissement. Every Friday morning, librarians and volunteers from the association L.I.R.E welcome visitors of all ages to browse books, listen to stories, and share a love of reading in a relaxed park setting.

The event takes place near the playground, making it a perfect outing for families. Attendees can leaf through a curated selection of books, discover new titles, and enjoy the simple pleasure of reading al fresco. The atmosphere is friendly and community-focused, encouraging spontaneous exchanges between readers.

This free, open-air library experience is part of the larger "Les bibliothèques hors les murs" series, which brings Parisian library services into public spaces during the summer. Note that the event may be cancelled in case of bad weather, such as rain or extreme heat.
