Les samedis du compostage

Discover the art of composting at the Maison du Jardinage et du Compostage in Paris's Parc de Bercy. Led by a master composter, these Saturday morning workshops offer hands-on theory and practice for managing a composter and using the finished product. Participants also learn about the City of Paris's various programs for sorting and valorizing food waste.

Part of the "Nature à Paris" initiative, these sessions are free but require advance registration. They are open to all ages (from 2 years old) and take place twice a month. The workshops are part of the city's Local Program for Prevention of Household and Similar Waste (PLPDMA), supporting local composting efforts.

Attendees can expect a practical, educational experience in a garden setting, covering everything from composting basics to the different collective and individual composting options available in Paris.
