This hands-on workshop invites children aged 6 to 9 to explore the hidden world of molecules. Led by Laurence Grimaud, a research director in chemistry at ENS, and Sidonie Rosset, a doctoral student and creator of the "Maman chercheuse" channel, the session shows that chemistry is everywhere—in the air, snacks, toys, and even our own bodies.
Participants become real explorers of the microscopic world through interactive activities designed to reveal the secrets of molecules. The event is part of "L'Automne de la science dans les bibliothèques - La nature nous inspire" and is organized in partnership with the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) and its family cycle "Petites exploratrices, petits explorateurs de la connaissance (PE²C)."
Held at the Médiathèque Edmond Rostand in the 17th arrondissement, this free educational experience offers a unique opportunity for young minds to discover the fascinating science behind everyday life.
