Romain Pilon Standards Trio at 38Riv Jazz Club

Guitarist Romain Pilon, hailed by Jazzwise as a brilliant improviser, brings his Standards Trio to the intimate 38Riv Jazz Club in the heart of the Marais. The trio reinterprets classics from the Great American Songbook alongside compositions by Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter, and Duke Ellington, delivering an evening of swing, interaction, and improvisation.

Pilon, a standout figure on the European jazz scene, studied in the US and has been based in Paris since 2004, performing and recording with internationally renowned musicians. At 38Riv, he is joined by Yoni Zelnik on double bass and Gautier Garrigue on drums for a set that blends elegance with creative freedom.
