Silence is a choreographed concert born from the collaboration between musician Lucie Antunes and choreographer Mathilde Monnier. Featuring nine performers, the piece explores rhythm as a transformative force for both body and perception, blending music and dance in a dialogue driven by repetition and intensity.

Drawing on shamanic influences, Antunes uses rhythmic pulsation to induce a state of trance, while Monnier plays with fluctuations in tempo to create an experience that oscillates between extreme slowness and frantic agitation. The work premiered at the 80th edition of the Festival d'Avignon and continues Antunes' interdisciplinary approach, supported by her residency at CENTQUATRE-PARIS.

Set in the 19th arrondissement, CENTQUATRE-PARIS is a hub for artistic residencies and production, known for its eclectic programming spanning pop, electro, world, and classical music. Silence offers a unique fusion of sound and movement, inviting audiences into a hypnotic journey through rhythm.
