Stage - écrire dans Paris

Overview

This summer writing workshop invites young people aged 10 to 14 to explore Paris while honing their creative writing skills. Led by Manon Jouniaux, the program combines urban walks with writing exercises inspired by the city's literary heritage. Participants will visit parks, museums, and cultural venues like the Philharmonie de Paris, using observation and listening as prompts for playful writing tasks.

The workshop traces the footsteps of famous writers such as Victor Hugo, Colette, Rimbaud, and Simone de Beauvoir, blending literary discovery with artistic exploration. Each day offers a different itinerary, ensuring a fresh experience throughout the week. The group meets daily at Place de la République, returning in the late afternoon after a full day of cultural immersion and creative expression.

Organized by the association Images et Mots, this stage is designed to provide a productive and inspiring summer break. With a focus on outdoor and café-based writing, it encourages participants to see Paris as a living canvas for their imagination. The workshop runs for two separate weeks in July, offering flexibility for families.
