This five-day workshop in Paris offers an immersive dive into the techniques of ancient painting, from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. Participants explore natural pigments, prepare traditional supports, and learn the layered painting methods used by European masters.

Led by instructor Stéphane Brunner, the course covers pigment grinding, medium preparation, and the construction of a painting in successive layers. Each day builds on the previous, from initial drawing and lean paint layers to final touches and a collective presentation of completed works.
