Since 2002, Paris Plages has transformed the city's riverbanks into a free summer destination for Parisians who stay in town. The 24th edition runs from July 4 to August 30, 2026, across two iconic sites: the Bassin de la Villette and the Parc des Rives de Seine.
On the Rives de Seine, from the Tuileries tunnel to the Pont de Sully, visitors can relax on deckchairs, play pétanque, or enjoy gentle and sporting activities. A new swimming area, the Bras Marie, opens daily at the foot of the Pont Louis-Philippe. At the Bassin de la Villette, the program includes aquatic activities, a children's club, paddleboarding, canoeing, a zip line, and access to the nautical base and port.
Paris Plages is part of the larger "Paris en Seine" programming, offering a wide range of free leisure options for all ages. Whether you want to swim, lounge, or try something new, the event turns the city's waterways into a vibrant summer playground.
Yes, all activities are free of charge.
