Blue Earth Sound brings a unique musical experience to Manchester, drawing inspiration from the ethereal and introspective sounds of Damon & Naomi's 2005 album *The Earth Is Blue*. Attendees can expect a blend of dream-weaving psychedelia, late-night jazz, and shimmering chamber pop, with the duo's gentle, ethereal style creating a pleasant, trance-like atmosphere.

The event captures the essence of the duo's deliberate, home-studio recording approach, where they rebuilt their studio to accommodate the album's scope. With contributions from Ghost guitarist Michio Kurihara and the horn group Nmperign, the performance promises a rich, layered sound that fuses elements of Fairport Convention, Low, and trip-hop.

This is a rare opportunity to experience the duo's autobiographical lyrics and covers, including a translucent take on George Harrison's "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" and a version of Caetano Veloso's "Araçá Azul."
