Scottish singer-songwriter Eddi Reader brings her distinctive folk-tinged vocals to Manchester for an intimate evening of music. Best known as the lead singer of Fairground Attraction, whose 1988 hit "Perfect" topped the UK charts and won a Brit Award, Reader has built a celebrated solo career spanning decades. Her repertoire draws from her own acclaimed albums as well as her acclaimed interpretations of Robert Burns' poetry, which she showcased in 2003.

Attendees can expect a warm, engaging performance from an artist whose career began busking on Glasgow's Sauchiehall Street before touring with Gang of Four and working as a session vocalist for acts like Eurythmics and The Waterboys. With three Brit Awards to her name, Reader's live shows blend heartfelt storytelling with masterful musicianship, creating an atmosphere that feels both intimate and celebratory.
