Teen Mortgage, the American punk rock duo from Washington, D.C., bring their high-energy show to Sheffield. The band, formed in 2017 by guitarist/vocalist James Guile and drummer Ed Barkauskas, has evolved from garage rock into a heavier, stoner-metal-influenced sound. Attendees can expect a raw, powerful performance from a duo known for their intense live sets.
The band's journey began when Guile moved from the UK to Maryland and found Barkauskas through a Craigslist ad. Their debut show was at DC9 in Washington, D.C., and they have since toured with major acts like Weezer, the Smashing Pumpkins, and Alkaline Trio. Their music has been featured in Vans campaigns and the TV series Shameless.
Signed to Roadrunner Records, Teen Mortgage released their debut album *Devil Ultrasonic Dream* in 2025. This Sheffield date is a chance to see a band that has quickly risen from DIY beginnings to international stages, delivering a set that blends punk energy with heavy riffs.
