Glasgow 26: Bowls and Para Bowls

Bowls returns to the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow for its twenty-second edition, having featured in every Games since 1930 except 1966. This year marks the fourth time Scotland has hosted the event, and for the first time the competition will be held indoors.

The programme runs from 24 July to 2 August 2026, with an extra morning session added on 23 July due to high demand for quota places. A total of 27 Commonwealth Games Associations have confirmed entrants, including eight nations bringing six para bowlers each.

Spectators can expect a full schedule of men's, women's, and para bowls events, with Scotland competing as the host nation. The indoor format promises a unique atmosphere for this historic sport.
