Recomposed by Max Richter: Vivaldi, The Four Seasons

This concert presents Max Richter's celebrated recomposition of Vivaldi's *The Four Seasons*, a work that reimagines the Baroque original through a contemporary classical lens. Richter discarded about 75 percent of Vivaldi's material, weaving the remaining fragments into phased, looping patterns that reflect his grounding in postmodern and minimalist music.
