Splendour Festival returns to Wollaton Park for what organisers have announced will be its final edition. The Saturday lineup features headliners The Wombats and Snow Patrol, with support from Primal Scream, Craig David Presents TS5, Editors, The K's, The Flaming Lips, Hard Life, The Lathums, Estelle, Cast, Neville Staple from The Specials, Kingfishr, The Futureheads, The Pigeon Detectives and The Sugarhill Gang.
Since its debut in 2008, the festival has grown into a staple of Nottingham's summer calendar, drawing crowds of up to 25,000. The park setting provides a spacious backdrop for multiple stages, including the main stage and smaller stages for emerging acts and comedy. Past editions have featured headliners like Manic Street Preachers, Paloma Faith, and Kaiser Chiefs.
Attendees can expect a full day of live music across genres, from indie and rock to pop and ska. The festival's atmosphere is known for being family-friendly, with food stalls, bars, and activities scattered throughout the grounds. This final edition promises a fitting send-off for a beloved local institution.
