The 64th Golden Knight Malta International Film Festival takes place on Saturday 28 November 2026 in Valletta. Organised by the Malta Cine Circle, the festival was first held in 1962 and is primarily a short film competition, with categories spanning amateur, film-school and professional productions.

Entries come in from across Europe, the Americas, the Far East and beyond, and the festival has grown from a small amateur showcase into a competition that regularly draws several hundred submissions from dozens of countries each year.
