Kaxxa tal-Ħruġ 2026 - Feast of Saint Margaret

Kaxxa tal-Ħruġ 2026, organised by Għaqda Tan-Nar 20 ta' Lulju Sannat, takes place in Ta' Sannat, Gozo, on Sunday 26 July 2026, as part of the village's celebrations for its patron, Saint Margaret. The event centres on the local Għaqda (band club), whose brass band provides the music for the day.

Members of the band club march in procession and perform through the village streets, accompanying the saint's statue ahead of the main festa. This kind of pre-feast band-club event is a fixture of Gozitan village life, run and funded by the club itself rather than the parish.

The event is free to attend and open to visitors as well as residents of Ta' Sannat.
