Festival & Academia Verão Clássico

Founded in 2015 by pianist Filipe Pinto-Ribeiro, the Festival & Academia Verão Clássico is a prestigious classical music event that combines concerts with a strong pedagogical component. In its 12th edition, the festival returns to Teatro Thalia for ten memorable performances featuring core classical repertoire.

Alongside the concerts, masterclasses take place at the Escola Artística de Música do Conservatório Nacional and the Escola Secundária Marquês de Pombal, led by internationally renowned musicians and educators. The programme includes opening and closing concerts, as well as six Talent Fest showcases, offering a rich variety of works from Bach to Bartók.
