Filhos de Alguém at Teatro Taborda

Set on a emblematic bench in Ponta Delgada where poet Antero de Quental ended his life, this play follows two marginalized siblings waiting for a future that never arrives. Blending the memory of a man who dreamed of a fairer society with the reality of today's excluded, the piece confronts themes of family, abandonment, poverty, dependency, and hope.

Written by Nuno Costa Santos and João Pedro Porto, with artistic direction and staging by Miguel Damião, the production features actors Emanuel Arada and Rui M. Silva. It offers a poetic and social portrait of those left behind, questioning what society does with those it lets fall through the cracks.
