Lote 19 - Felicidade por Metro Quadrado

This theatrical production by Companhia da Esquina brings to life a poetic story of an old man who discovers a patch of earth in a concrete housing development—a gap in the urban planning that becomes a space for hope. Adapted from Sandro William Junqueira's work "Quando as Girafas Baixam o Pescoço," the play follows the man as he scatters seeds in the empty lot, waiting for ancient rain to arrive before the new contractor does.

Performed at the historic Teatro Variedades in Parque Mayer, the show features a talented cast including Ana Lúcia Palminha, André Nunes, Ângelo Torres, and others. The intimate setting and the play's meditation on nature versus development create a thought-provoking experience for audiences.
