After a period of closure for renovation works, the Teatro Nacional D. Maria II (TNDM II) reopens its doors in Rossio with a three-day celebration. The public is invited to rediscover this national monument through guided tours, a photography exhibition documenting the renovation process, and an exhibition dedicated to the theatre's 180-year history.
The programme includes the premiere of *Macbeth* by William Shakespeare, directed by Pedro Penim, as well as the launch of a new translation and edition of the play. The Coro do Recomeço, an initiative by the artistic structure ondamarela, will perform on the final day.
