Sábados em família

Every Saturday in July, the Cinemateca Portuguesa – Museu do Cinema in Lisbon hosts a family-friendly film series. The programme kicks off with a Laurel and Hardy double bill featuring silent shorts accompanied by live piano, followed by classic musicals and animated adventures.

Highlights include the Oscar-winning *The Sound of Music*, *Toy Story 3* (dubbed in Portuguese), and a gentle French balloon journey in *Le Voyage en Ballon*. The series offers a relaxed cinema experience for all ages, with a special relaxed screening on 18 July.

Set in the historic Cinemateca building on Rua Barata Salgueiro, these afternoon screenings are a perfect way to introduce children to the magic of cinema while enjoying timeless stories on the big screen.
